The incumbent will be responsible for supporting graphic equipment sales, conducting preventative maintenance, repairs, equipment modifications, troubleshooting, installation planning/coordination/support and customer support. You'll be involved with multi-vendor systems including hardware, software, networking products and operating systems.

Responsibilities:

• Provides post startup customer support relating to equipment operation and process performance. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on company product lines.
• Provide advice in returning equipment to optimal performance. Inspects, installs, trouble-shoots, replaces parts and refurbishes equipment to ensure equipment quality and performance to specifications.
• Provides technical advice to customers on methods to optimize equipment operation and process performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment operation and process problems reported by customers.
• Prepares reports documenting troubleshooting and warranty activities, participates in the development of corrective actions improving equipment operation and performance.
• Travel as required to resolve operational or performance issues.
• Run on-site and remote diagnostics and support customers.
• Develop and maintain excellent customer relations, be first line resource for customer questions and concerns.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Experience installing graphic software on a standard windows platform, installing Network cards, ability to connect peripherals (PC or printer) to an existing network via TCP/IP.
• Hands on experience with Large format inkjet/solvent printers, from a user/maintenance stand point.
• Strong mechanical/technical aptitude, knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance. Ability to trouble shoot, resolve mechanical / system problems.
• Excellent Communication/Customer Service Skills, Team Player, Professional.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
